We have never had a stackable, but the builder made the doorway too small for a standard size washer and dryer. It's been a great result from a mistake. They are both normal size drums, so we haven't lost wash load capability. They are quiet and very efficient.

My Electrolux laundry tower replaced a loud shaky Whirlpool top load washer and dryer that was about 20 years old. They still worked but would shake the home in spin dry. The dryer had a loud buzzer that couldn't be turned off so it really meant loads could only be done while all were awake. I needed the space so I can install a water softener as my well water is super hard and the water smells. With the Electrolux laundry tower and water softener it's a total win/win for this household.

It took 3 times to finally get a properly functioning unit. With the 1st unit, the dryer stopped working on day 2 - after the 1st load dried. I called Lowes, and they sent a 2nd unit. Only this unit had a large, deep scratch/crack in the facing, right by the dryer power button - refused that one before it made it through our front door. The third machine finally looks right, no defects, and has been running perfectly since it was installed. I do have the 5 year warranty on it, just in case.

Washes and dries, does the job. But the washer does spin out the water very well, clothes are often pretty heavy and soaked still. Dryer takes over an hour for regular dry time. Anything less than an hour it won't dry. I tried drying one singular sweatshirt and it took over an hour to dry one sweatshirt. However no matter how big the load is, the clothes will be dried on the normal setting. Not good for needing quick washes and dries even though it says their a quick 15 minute option, these do not work.

It™€™s a nice looking, energy efficient machine, however there is a massive lint problem. After every load, there is an excessive amount of lint on the clothes. We troubleshot this with the manufacturer and the wholesaler we bought the machine from, with ni improvement. we even had a replacement machine delivered, and the lint issue remains. So unfortunately we are stuck with lint on our clothes until we get a different machine in the future.

I used to have a washing machine only due to moving to a smaller place and the other dryer used to give me trouble and was drying at the laundry but thank God I have my Electrolux washer and dryer, I was confused with the washer at first about how much water it get while washing but I guess use a sensor and give you the right amount of water that you need and like that I can save money in my water bill bit I am in love with my dryer its so huge it dries my clothes in no time, don™€™t think about it is worth the money.

We were immediately thrilled with this purchase! We have had it for about three weeks now and can't say enough good things about it. Our previous machine was an all-in-one washer/dryer which seemed to have alot of bugs and quirks and it ultimately died at only 2.5 years of use. As a result we decided to go in a different direction and hoped the legacy name of Electrolux would give us a reliable workhorse of a machine....it has not disappointed us! We also wanted to keep the space saving that the previous all-in-one gave us. This Tower has been exactly what we need and want! Even hubby noticed that the towels came out soft and fluffy...a noticeable difference from our previous machines! He's never noticed before! I am actually thrilled that there is no AI attached to this machine and no app! The lint screen is a great size; it gives me confidence that it truly is trapping the lint and keeping it away from the motor. I even experienced having left a tissue in a pocket and ALL of it was trapped in the trap..none of it was on the clothes! I've never had a machine that good before! I love the different cycles especially the 15 minute wash/dry. The control panel is so easy to see and very responsive to touch. The machine is also quieter than I expected; overall not noisy. Thank you Electrolux!
